Whale Pattern – Stuffed Animal

I am in love with this Whale Pattern!  It is so sweet and truly simple.  The shape is super simple with the fins of the whale on the sides.  In one of the whale plushies they show a little ribbon loop at the top of the head, this would be to hang from a mobile, or play gym type of thing for the little babies.  What a great idea!

The back of the whale pattern does have a folded seam which you close with a ladder stitch which is an interesting way to close the whale plushie, but a great idea none the less.

I am assuming that if you want a smaller whale plushie than you will just shrink the templates to the size you desire.  And, if you’d like a bit whale like a pillow size…then super size the template pieces!

Supplies for Sewing:

• fabric- body, fins, eyes
• polyfil stuffing
